坎耶·维斯特（Ye），1977年6月8日出生于美国乔治亚州亚特兰大，美国说唱男歌手、音乐制作人、商人、服装设计师。 1987年，母亲到中国南京大学教书，他也跟着入读南京一所小学。 2000年，以Roc-a-Fella唱片公司音乐制作人的身份出道。 2003年，发行首支个人单曲《Through the Wire》。 2012年4月，与金·卡戴珊开始交往，2022年3月2日，金·卡戴珊与Kanye正式离婚。
