18세기에 루마니아에서 아프리카의 왕자 마누왈데가 루나와 결혼을 하여 트란실배니아 성에 찾아가 노예 해방을 요구했지만 드라큘라의 노여움을 사는 바람에 흡혈을 당해 브라큘라가 되어 긴 잠에 빠져들었다가, 그가 잠든 관이 70년대에 이르러 미국의 안티크 업자에게 팔아 넘겨져 로스 엔젤레스로 옮겨진 뒤 잠에서 깨어나 생전의 아내 루나와 꼭 닮은 데나를 만나면서 벌어지는 이야기
